The MomMed S21 breast pump is comprehensive and comes with everything you need to be successful in breastfeeding. The package I got comes with all of these items:

- Silicone diaphragm

One of the most important accessories for the MomMed S21 Breast Pump is the silicone breast shield. The breast shield is the part of the pump that goes directly on the breast and is responsible for creating suction to extract milk. The silicone material in this breast pump is soft and gentle on the skin while also creating an effective suction, making pumping sessions pain-free and comfortable.
In addition to the breast shield, the package comes with 24mm flange inserts. These are the default flange sizes that comes with the package, however, you can purchase different sizes of flange inserts (17mm, 19mm, 21mm, and 24mm) from the MomMed website and Amazon.
The package also comes with 4 extra silicone diaphragm and 2 extra duckbill valves in case you need replacement parts.
Overall I do recommend getting this package from Amazon as it is comprehensive and you get everything you absolutely need if you want to be successful with pumping.
How to use MomMed S21 Breast Pump
Assembly
If you have never used a breast pump before, it may be confusing to set up. However, the MomMed S21 breast pump makes it easy to use because the breast pump is already assembled when you take it out of the box. You can study how it’s put together so that you can easily take it apart and reassemble when you need to use it next. The user manual that it comes with is also very helpful in teaching how to assemble the breast pump.
Pump Motor Settings
The pump motor comes with a digital display so you can easily see what settings you are on. There are three different settings with 12 levels of intensity:
- Expression setting
- Stimulation setting
- Automatic setting (Level 1-6 are massage mode, while levels 7-12 are expression modes
You can press the power button to toggle between the different settings, and the +/- signs to toggle between levels.
Personally I like to use the expression mode at the highest level so I can get the most milk from each pumping session. However, I have been breastfeeding for a while, so I am used to the higher levels. If you are just starting out with breastfeeding and pumping, you should use the lowest intensity and build up as you see fit.
Using the MomMed S21 Breast Pump
Privacy and Discretion
According to MomMed, they created the S21 breast pump so that women can discreetly pump wherever they are. However, I only ever use it in the comfort of my own home, therefore this is not an issue for me. With that in mind, I will say that the pump is still quite bulky, and the only way I can think of for a mother to pump discreetly while running errands is if it’s done under a very baggy sweater.
My Personal Experience
Packaging
When I opened the package I was pleasantly surprised with all the items that the breast pump comes with. The packaging was minimalistic but well presented. I was happy to see that it comes with a cleaning brush as well as milk storage bags and fabric storage bag for the breast pump.
Assembling The Product
I had no issues with assembling the breast pump because I have used a few in the past and was familiar with how breast pumps are generally assembled. With that said, I probably still would have had no issues with assembly since the instructions were clear and the pump comes fully assembled.
Breast pumping
The product had a notably strong suction, and was able to pump a few ounces of milk. I do not exclusively breastfeed anymore since my daughter is 19 months old, however I still do regularly breastfeed, and the amount I was able to collect within a 20 minute time-frame makes sense for someone who is not breastfeeding full-time.
I did have some difficulties trying to figure out the digital display, as it’s not as straight-forward as I am used to. However, the manual did a good job explaining what each setting means and what the display means.

I am hard pressed to say any cons about this product because it’s well designed, at a good price range and also comes with all the necessary accessories to have a successful breast pumping journey. However, there are the cons that I noticed about the product.
- Not Inconspicuous: It’s advertised as a sleek product that can be used out and about, but I believe it’s still quite bulky that people will definitely see that it’s under your shirt
- Confusing Digital Display: The digital display is a little confusing at first as it looks like it’s showing hour and minutes instead of level and number of minutes.
