“I tucked my son in and told him, “I love you, goodnight” and he responded with “and I love [insert name of stuffed animal]” like we were just sharing fun facts about the world.”
“My 2 y/o replied to I love you with “don’t want daddy be here. Want daddy to go to work.”” Kids can be unpredictable, but this response is definitely not what you want to hear.
