The woman, who we’ll call ‘Winnie’, is a 35-year-old first-time mom to a four-month-old baby. Her mother is 67-years-old and Winnie’s baby is her first grandchild.
“Through out my pregnancy and birth she had been very critical and has always challenged my actions,” Winnie recalls. “Now with the kid, it’s [gotten worse].
Winnie said that her mom believes that “tummy time is not needed.” She also said that “she never needed to do it for me and my siblings and we turned out fine.”
