His Roommate Has Disgustingly Strict Toilet Rules. Do You Agree?
Living with a roommate can be a great way to save money and make new friends. However, sometimes, living with someone can lead to uncomfortable situations. One man who we’ll call ‘David’ talks about how irritable his roommate is when it comes to toilet rules.
Recently Moved In
David recently moved in with a new roommate who is very concerned about conserving water. They follow the “if it’s yellow let it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down” toilet rule to conserve water. However, this has caused discomfort and disgust for David.
Uncomfortable With The Rule
David is uncomfortable with the idea of ‘going number two’ in urine and has been flushing before using the toilet. “I thought I was well within reason to flush before pooping to avoid a golden kiss from Poseidon however apparently not.”
Roommate Won’t Budge
However, his roommate has taken issue with this. “They started asking why I am flushing twice when I should only need to flush once. I literally said I don’t want to poop in piss and they said I shouldn’t care it’s a bathroom and that’s what happens.”
Counting Flushes
David’s roommate then started counting his flushes. “I feel like they are literally counting my flushes now and I have found them waiting outside the door after I finish so I can no longer go in peace without them lurking.”
David Doesn’t Want To Fight
“This is the strangest situation I have been in, I refuse to go while there’s urine in the toilet bowl but this is the best place I’ve been at for awhile so I don’t wanna fight over how the toilet is used. Why do people have to be so odd.”
Uno Reverse
Other people weighed in, and one person suggested David do an Uno Reverse. “Turn it around and don’t flush after you poop.”
Another person said David should just continue what he’s doing. “Just flush, don’t even argue it just do it and ignore any comment. They will give up.”
